Job Details

  • Salary: From $17 to $30 an hour
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Location: Woodside, NY 11377

Responsibilities

  • Enter and review financial data, including posting invoices, vouchers, and payment requests
  • Resolve account-related issues accurately and promptly
  • Balance statements and finalize accounting records
  • Process accounts payable invoices and payment requests; issue reimbursement checks
  • Match checks to invoices and payment requests after each check run cycle
  • Enter invoices, post and reconcile batches, and investigate payables with vendors
  • Prepare accounts for payment and verify system data
  • Maintain organized filing and documentation systems
  • Perform cashier duties as assigned
  • Provide back-up receptionist support during breaks
  • Break down and cost deals accurately
  • Handle daily deposits and post accounts payable and receivables
  • Bill out deals, swaps, and wholesales

Working Hours

This is a full-time position with regular weekday hours; specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in dealership accounting or bookkeeping preferred
  • Strong ability to accurately balance large volumes of accounts
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Quick learner, adaptable to change, and able to thrive in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background and motor vehicle record checks; must maintain a valid driver’s license
